There was a time when I was an angry young man, a political comic looking for his voice. I would go up on stage each and every night, rail against the world, pissed off and downright cranky. I hated what was happening to my beloved country, and I wanted the world to know. Torture, wiretaps, Abu-Grahib, Iraq, I mean the jokes just write themselves. Seriously, if you didn’t get five minutes of new material when Dick Cheney shot somebody in the face, you weren’t trying.
